Meet Rev. Kim
Serving God has been a lifelong calling and prior to becoming a minister I ran my own massage therapy and energy healing business for over 15years. I am also a transformational life coach and grief educator. Nature is where I find God on a day-to-day basis. My soul sings and communes with Spirit when I am walking along the Roaring Fork trail, backpacking around Independence Pass, or floating the many Colorado rivers.
Here is a poem I recently wrote as part of my Ordination that expresses who I am:
I call you, my child, to answer my call
To open your heart to hear my soft whisper
That blows through the wind
into the depths of your heart.
Listen in the quiet spaces,
Listen in the noisy spaces
Listen in the spaces in between
That is where I am, waiting for you..
I am called to serve
To walk with others through the valleys and over the mountain tops.
I sit and listen, witnessing their pain, their loss, their sorrow
I rejoice through the celebrations and joys, joining the table of connection that you have created
walk in God is written on my arm
a reminder of what I’m here to be
To align my will with your will
To surrender and open to the power of creation
I am a midwife of grief
The liminal spaces of transitions
Call me
To bear witness and reflect
The light of you God
I am a healer
the hole in the flute for Christ’s love to flow through
I sit in the mystery, the black velvet void
Where everything is possible and only waits
For our arrival
I am a change-maker
I reflect what is working and not working
In people, places and spaces
To offer hope, possibility, and the opportunity
To transform
I answer your call day after day
“Here I am Lord, send me”
Sometimes wanting to pretend I don’t hear
To stick my head in the sand of unconsciousness
But the suffering persists when I do, so I surrender
Say yes, and step forward into the next unknown moment…
